I just want to thank those of you who wished good wishes for my family and me, and understood my situation. Only one person criticized. I didn't need that.

I can't help but say you are 36 years old. How can you allow your mother to run over you like that? If you can't stand your ground, how can you be sure that if you move that she won't move in with you then?

If you are paying rent and have the receipts, then you can have the law remove her just like if it were a husband abusing you. Of course that will probably end your relationship with your mother but it sounds as if that is what you need to survive.

I lived with an abusive verbal father to mom and me. My sister escaped his anger times and why I don't know. Know I do she was gone most of the time. It is hard to handle. I couldn't wait to move to the beach and worked my tail off to do so.

My heart goes out to you... I've dealt with this for years and I know what you are going through. I see this behavior in so many family members. I had to distance myself from all of them ( 2 brothers, 3 sisters)
